Getting ready for DHN Show, Apeldoorn and a new court jester !

It has been a busy few months in the shed , and I have hardly popped my head out for air !
Next weekend though I will be getting out and about, I am excited to be exhibiting for the very first time at the DHN show in Apeldoorn, Netherlands.

I have been busy making new characters for the show, I was at Autumn Miniatura last month and had a wonderful show, so there has been a lot of re stocking to do.
It was lovely to see some of you there, I think everyone was having a great time  :)

For Apeldoorn I have made some very colourful characters. This court jester is one of my favourites !

Those of you who are familiar with the wonderful work of Norman Rockwell will see I have been very inspired by one of his illustrations !
Although I have used the pose and the glum expression I decided not to make a copy, but rather to use my imagination and create my own characters . This Jester and his Marotte were a delight to make , and of course I have dressed them in my favourite colours too !
He doesnt look too thrilled about his trip abroad next weekend , but I am sure it will cheer him up !
