I think I can ......

Happy New Year !
A little late I know , but time has slipped away too fast already .
2014 is shaping up to be a busy year for me, but I have been planning and making changes and now I think I can fit everything in .....
I closed my order book a few months ago and am still busy catching up with commission work so as yet I have no plans to take on any more orders.
However I will be exhibiting at Miniatura, KDF, 1 zu 12 show Germany and the Autumn DHN show in the Netherlands this year and have some exciting ideas for new dolls which will be for sale at the shows.
Once I have honoured my commission work I hope to be selling more regularly from my Etsy shop and previewing some of the dolls for sale there here on my website.
So with all the fairs, commissions and etsy shop I will be making quite a few dolls this year , luckily I have a head full of ideas and just need to find the time to turn those ideas into dolls. I think I can.....

Amidst all the planning , I still found a little time over the holidays for my own hobbies .
As some of you know I am a collector as well as a maker and  have a blog dedicated to my miniature toy shop .

I have been making plans for that too !  I didn't get much further than planning and re arranging the window displays but one of my plans is to keep weekends free so I can indulge in my hobby and just maybe I will finish work on the upstairs rooms in the toyshop this year.

I couldn't resist fitting a doll somewhere in this post, so I leave you with Uncle Mort, proprietor of Trimble's Toy Emporium, who is patiently waiting for me to finish work on his bedroom , den and worshop. If you would like to visit my toy shop blog there is a link in the sidebar or go to www.diaryofanedwardiandollshouse.blogspot.com
